Coastal North Carolina is the cradle of aviation worldwide. Starting at the roots of manned flight at Kitty Hawk, through the evolution of Marine Corps aviation, the relationship between the military and coastal Carolina communities has created a protector of freedom, as well as, thriving social and economic growth.
The Eastern Carolina Aviation Heritage Foundation offers an opportunity to experience the heritage, culture, and sense of community and patriotism that grows from shared experiences that bond people of different backgrounds and histories.
