Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, Mary Beth earned her Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University, and later a Master’s of Engineering from NC State University. After a brief tour with the Department of Commerce as a Patent Examiner, Mary Beth married a Marine and moved to Cherry Point, NC. She spent the rest of her 33 year federal career with Fleet Readiness Center East. She began her career as a Materials Engineer. From there she moved into management, and served in Department Head or Director level positions in Command Compliance, Production, Business Operations, and Corporate Operations. She retired from federal service in September of 2017, and currently enjoys volunteering with several community organizations.
